Router level VPN for Netflix only? : cordcutters I'd rather not VPN all of my traffic (there's a lot of it, and I'm concerned about speed), but rather any Netflix traffic from any computer, using any program (which will mostly be XBMC). My router is a NetGear D6300. If you guys don't know the exact answer, some prods in the right direction would be lovely. D6300 VPN timeout when trying to log on to my work network via VPN, I get timed out after 5 minutes. I have noticed a couple of posts about this on the forum where solution like changing the idle timeout to 0 and updated the firmware have been suggested. Plus, the VPN can be easily disabled from the DD-WRT GUI. If you try this tutorial, please post a comment and let me know how it's working for you or if you have trouble. Additionally, I'd love to hear from our community members if they have gotten OpenVPN working on the R6300 with any other provider, and if so, how it was done!
