They do this by taking over the job of DNS from your router or ISP and direct any traffic to say Netflix.com to hit their proxy servers, and traffic for say facebook.com to go to the normal

While this is slow compared to a lot of VPN providers, it is entirely adequate—in fact, it’s more than what’s needed—for streaming, which is really what this service is designed for.
